Default Carb/Intake

Need some advice on a carb and intake for an 87 Mustang GT 5.0 Motor. I was thinking of getting the Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake:

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...24&prmenbr=361

and the Holley 670cfm Street Avenger Carb:

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...13&prmenbr=361

what do you guys think? Is there anything else i should get instead?

btw this motor is going to have....e cam, aluminum gt40 turbo swirl-x heads, 1.7RR, BBK Equal Length shorties, and underdrives.

na only option is 670 and 570 i was thinking since the 670 said 300-400HP, that it would be ok since after the heads, cam, rockers, etc etc im thinking this motor will be pushing just over 300HP at the crank

I would rather see you go with a Holley 4150 style carb, in a 600 or 650 size at the most, vacum secondarys, unless you have a 5 speed with steep gears then I would go with a double pumper. They are easier to tune and it is the most common performance carb on the market, part number 510-O-80783C on that Jegs site. Also I would go with the RPM Air Gap instead of the regular Performer RPM. As for the cam, I assume that you do not need to worry about emission, there are way way better cams than the ABC line of cams, but we need to know what rear gear have/going to have and if you have an auto or a 5 speed before making that choice.
