So it looks like I will be buying a 5.0 pretty soon. This will not be for racing, but I do want to get a nice cat-back on it. I had a bbk o/r with american thunder flows on my 98 and I loved it. I am not going to change out the mid-pipe....i really don't want to screw around with emissions. What do you all suggest??

Finding the right pipe is like finding the right woman....It's all personal taste. I run MAC and really like em.....fwiw.

yeah it all depends on the sound you want for your car. The best thing to do is listen to sound clips of different mufflers and choose the one you think sounds best. Performance wise a straight though design muffler is the best

You like a loud wild tone? Or a mellower tone like flowmasters that still sounds pretty good?

Well, I really like the deep muscle car sound.....hence the reason I loved my last set up with my 98. I just want a cat-back so it needs to be loud a deep without a new mid-pipe. I like Borla alot.....what about SLP???[&:]
