Default Help with locating proper ground

I recently had a buddy change the timing belt cover on my 93 GT. Since then, the car won't start. Just rolls over and over. As far as I know, the only thing he did that would cause this was remove the battery ground wire to another location. Now when ever I would try to start the car, it doesn't and the ground wire to the battery gets really hot. I don't recall where the ground wire was previously and I would like to put it back. Can someone recommend a solid place for this wire? Right now it is located right behind the AC Compressor.

That's where it goes. there is a bolt into the block that it goes into. Its probably a 7/16" or 3/8" bolt.

Thanks. I took off the cable and cleaned the area as well as the wire with a wire brush. And made sure all the wires on the distributor was seated properly. Fired right up. So it looked to be a ground problem. Now my smog pump is seized, so I'm working on that now.
