Default '90 conv runs rough what next?

My '90 5.0 conv starts fine, runs great for the first few miles. Let it sit while in the store 1/2 hr and then it runs rough, bucks and barely makes it back home. The only code stored is a 32. I cleaned the EGR valve and it seems to work fine. What to try next?

Land O' Lakes. It runs about the same after cleaning the EGR which wasn't really that bad.

After you rule out the egr isn't stuck open, take the cover off the tfi module and check it.

sounds like heat soak issue, with a possible ignition component

Thanks everybody for the input. I'll try the tfi next. Land O' Lakes is a long way from Ft. Walton but thanks for the offer.
