Default Injector/ECU Compatability

Ok, long story short will 24lb fuel injectors work with a GT ecu without calibration? Since I'm doing the engine rebuild and I'm ditching my 30lbs with the Kenne Bell I know the stock 19lbs will not support the 280-300 bhp the engine will be making as they will be past their 80% load ratings. So will 24lbs work with a stock GT ecu? To my knowledge the only difference between a GT ecu and the Cobra ECU is the fuel tables. MAFs are the same.

if you dont tune the ECM, you will need a 24# calibrated MAF.

Hahah....from what I've researched people have had sever idel problems running 24s on a regular ECU without a tune or MAF. I'm just gonna get the ECU as it's made for the injectors unlike the MAF that just sends modified info to the ECU to adjust for the injectors. Not to mention aftermarket MAFs run rich until tuned and I'm not burning extra money on gas just because the MAF wants to run rich lol.
