I have heard from different people that the front door speakers for a 88 GT hatchback are 5 1/2 and 6 1/2, which size is it exactly for a "direct fit" and would i need shallow mounts? i've heard the magnets will hit the window.

instead of askin g other people... why dont you just take your door panel off and look?

 

i can tell you right now a 6 1/2 is to big.im pretty sure they take a 5 1/4
