Default 1995 Mustang GT A/C recharge problem

Ive owned my 95 mustang GT for about a year...i dont ever remember the AC working....i know some models came with heat only, but since i have the controls to select normal or max AC i assume my model has AC......I'm some what familiar with AC systems and i cant find anything AC related under the hood....no lines....no service ports...nothing...so i thought maybe someone swapped out the controls in the car....dont know why they would....but when switching from normal to max AC there is an increase in airflow so....this really has me stumped. Also if u can see the pic u might notice there is some extra space inside the engine compartment?? maybe someone tore out the AC system? weird. I believe the car is from canada as it is canadian spec...not sure if this makes any difference. The only thing i can find that even remotely looks like a service port is about 6-8 inches to the right of the oil fill cap...its a black cap covering what looks like a valve stem to a tire kinda....dont really know what this is.... Any help would be appreciated as we have a newborn baby and its very hot out....

Josh

you must use a hosting site such as photobucket.com

It is common today for the younger generation to think it wise to remove the perfectly good A/C system to gain a tenth in the quarter mile. That said, since your car is from Canada, it is possible it was ordered without A/C, but unlikely. Once you get a photobucket account like mjr46 suggested, it will be apparent what has happened. Take a pic of where the heater hoses go through the firewall, since the A/C hoses would enter close to those.

Simple answer... Is there another pulley below your Power Steering?

Your car does not have A/C

Someone removed it. There is an idler pulley where your A/C compressor would be.

It is most certainly possible to install a new a/c system. But your best bet is to wait until I get home.
