Default Vibration problem

Hi
I have a 1988 t top 5.0 mustang
I recentaly put in a brand new trans and clutch but I havent driven the car about 8 months before the install I am having a loud vibration whenever I let off the gas at highway speeds 50+ I can accerlate up and through 100 when what I think is normal vibrations (just the engine screaming) but when I let off the gas a rough viberations starts immeaditly the car does not seem to shake and it is not all over the road Its never handled better I put new shocks on 1 year ago the trans started to go after the new shocks I dont think the vibration occured then but I might be wrong

Thanks Mike
