What could cause my pinging?

Here's a video of the fuel pressure while driving. Max speed was like 30 mph and max rpm was like 2500-3000.
Sorry the video is crappy quality and there's no rpm gauge, but I added video annotations to try to help.
I honestly don't know what the gauge should look like while driving. Only thing I really noticed is that the gauge shutters a little bit somtimes when I hold the gas pedal down.

Here is also the best recording I could get of the sound, from a recorder mounted on the strut brace right next to the EGR valve. Not 100% sure it is the sound, but I am quite sure. Sound is best heard around 0:02 to 0:07

your pinging is caused by carbon deposits. get some gm top engine cleaner and watch the smoke fly out your tailpipe! then flush your radiator and add some redline water wetter. do a performance tune (plugs, wires and timing adj with the spout connector out and 93 octane). run lucas fuel treatment at 1oz per 5 gal. i set my timing at 16deg BTDC with no pinging but i understand this varies with our ecu. Lots of good info in here, but no one mentioned clogged coolant passages. Just another theory, since everything that is usual suspect has been checked. I only mention it because of your seemingly faulty temp sending unit, and the losing coolant comment. Clogged passages = higher pressure = the leak you think you have = lowered coolant efficiency = pinging. Probably a super long shot, and probably wrong, since you state it can happen immediately after starting the car cold.
It's nearly 5 months since the latest OP post, but hey... I don't care about necro.
