Default buying an intake bbk ssi?

Well i've now had the car for a few months and its time for some new mods I've been planning on doing, but have been delayed due to some things. I'm finally getting my cobra r's next week so I can actually get the car to move, been runnin on factory tires [:'(]. The week after that I want to get an intake.

I've had my heart set on the bbk ssi and heard all these great things about it, my issue is kinda the price tho. I will have the money for it in 2-3 weeks, but I was really hoping to pick something up next week cause im tired of waiting lol, and I can get an edlebrock for around $350 bucks. I really just want something that is going to make the biggest difference in what I feel and et's, kinda tired of being slow, I know low 14's aint slow but I just switched from an ls1 sorry lol. Basically should I just wait and get the bbk or grab the edlbrock and throw something else on like a msd igntion? Even anything else that might be good for now for around 500 bucks all ideas are appreciated, thanks.

I think to feel a difference is to H/C/I it or get serious and build a motor from the oil pan up.

I didnt say anything about that in the post lets please try to stay on track, if you wouldve read my sig ud see I have both of those things.

Basically im between the edlebrock performer, tf street heat, typhoon, and bbk. I would like opinions from people that have had these and if they really noticed a difference. I have a cam already, and plan to get heads in the future so please just reply to the intake question.

Good luck grabbing one of those bbk intakes. I have been trying to buy one for almost 3 months now. Summit (and others) have been pushing the backorder date back and back. Summit was supposed to get them 3 months ago but still have not recieved them and continue to push the date back. I think they say that it will come at the end of this month but I think not.

Good luck grabbing one.
