it varies but the gear ratio you have is part of your vin number

Look at the door jam ID sticker on the drivers side. There will be a notation of AX. The letter below it is your axle code.

M= 2.73
Z= 3.08
E= 3.27

how easy is it to do a gear swap? driftguy2008 - does your friend want to unload any of those extra gears for a good price

its not to hard i dropped the rear and rebuilt with 3:73's posi. and i dont know ill ask him there not to expensive i think a gear set cost $190 on american muscle.com
