Okay guys i recently bought a 1992 lx. The car is in great shape im really happy with it but its had some problems. The engine had been sort of skipping when im parked or stopped at a light and its even worse at night when my headlights are on so it could be an electrical problem? When im driving the engine runs fune its only when im stopped. Im really unsure so any opnion will help btw i changed my sparkplugs which kinda helped the problem but its still there. Anyway any comments will help thanks alot!

Test your alternator output voltage, high load @ idle. Too low of voltage will starve the computer and make it run wonky.

TThank you but how do i test my alternator output voltage? i just changed my a alternator aabout a month ago

With a volt meter or multimeter

what plugs did you change to ? what did you remove and what did you gap them at ?

if any are platinum..throw them away. gap the plugs about .042"-.046" and see how it runs.

also if the coil is original, you may want to replace with a mallory stock replacement or msd. NOT an accel
