heh. degreaser isn't what you want.

Aerokroil is top notch rust eating stuff. Comes in an orange can. spray the hell out of it, let it soak, repeat.

If you've got room, use a 1/2 (or larger) breaker bar with 3-5' of cheater bar.

1/2" heavy duty impact gun is another option.

Breaking bolts sucks (so does cutting them). Then you've still got to drill them out and retap the threads. I snapped an intake manifold bolt on the 87 Subaru I bought to tinker with. That blew.

Good luck. and wear eye protection.

Didyou try tightening them? Sometimes it will move enough to break the rust/crud loose. Then you can remove it.

lol i had the same problems bolts were seized to the header bolts that connected to my h-pipe.... i just cut em off lol reason ebing i had new headers and an off road h-pipe i put on but the easiest way to get those bolts would be to take Aerokroil or maybe motor oil and let the bolt soak for awhile in like 60 degree weather ..... the get a breaker bar and PULLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!! it should come loose if not just impact them off or cut em....

PB blaster is easy enough to find. I took my whole 1968 mustang apart with it when it was time for restoration. To give you an idea on the rust level with that it could have been Fred flinstone's lovely floorless car. good luck.

Go to town with PBlaster and a MAPP gas torch. Get the head glowing red then try and break it free.If that doesnt work drill em'</P>

I wouldnt use impact if its really rusted solid. You problably just end up shearing the head off the bolt.</P>
