what would cause a grind when trying to shift into 1st at 5 mph and once i am at a dead stop it wont grind? Bad syncro? Iv heard of cables causing this but cable looks new.., a bit long but new. clutch is also new.

you shouldn't be down shifting into 1st unless at a dead stop

Granny shifting not double clutching like you should.No really unless you are racing try double clutching (truck driving exp( the fast and the furious hahaha)
and keep any eye on the rpms around 2k should make of some easy shifts

Well sorry to dissapoint but with these 2.73 gears and the t5 its a must unless i bog out in second just because i shouldnt shift into 1st...?? Doesnt make sense!! 1st gear is 1st and will use it when needed, im not downshifting to show off, im doin it kuzz i have to!! Like i said b4., im only doing about 3-5 mph here.., i shouldnt have a grind shifting into 1st.. even when its at 1mph.., Iv had 3.73's and 4.10's and even then somtimes i was leaving in 2nd from a stop.., that i can understang.., i mean understand..lol
