Is there any other model ford car that i can get a dip tube for my 1995 gts?
I have read some forums that discuss the tube breaking off in the oil pan but mine broke off on the bracket to the manifold, so it kind of just flops around. Is there a fix for this or another car I can get the tube from? I called Ford and the tube is discontinued and I do not want an aftermarket set up because of the horror stories I have read about their inaccurate readings. Any help would make my day, thanks.

yours only broke off at the bracket? lucky you. mine is broke at the bracket and at the pan.
i cant remember which broke first, but it would make sense that once the bracket breaks, the pan connection might be breaking soon.

im planning to fix mine with some type of jbweld type product. not sure if it is a good idea or not ( i plan to post here when i get to that point, currently im taking the engine apart).

as far as the horror stories go with aftermarket tubes, how bad could it be? but heres a possible solution if you end up with no choice but to go with the aftermarket tube: drain the oil, install the new tube, put like 3 quarts in, mark the dipstick. put another quart in, mark the dipstick, repeat.

please consider however, i might not be making any sense. wait for more responses
