Default 83 T5 in an 86gt T5

i have an 86 gt that needs a transmission i found a guy selling a rebuilt T5 for $450 that cam out of an 83, both are Borg Warner non WC. The ratios are a little different i know but will there be any problems with the swap?

No all clearances are clear, and just make sure your lifters are set with your cam.

wtf does any of that jibberish have to do with answering his question on the 83 t-5 vs 86???

Op, you'll be fine...they will interchange, but I wouldn't expect them you hold to a lot of abuse the torque capacity is lower on the 83 vs early 90's t-5's
