Firewall adjuster will not rotate

Well with that quadrant you have to have an adjustable cable anyways...non adjustable cables don't work with that type of quadrant. I've tried a stock cable with an aluminum quadrant before and it wouldn't work. Just get an adjustable cable and the firewall adjuster should work fine

When you say that your stock cable wouldn't work with the aftermarket quadrant. Did your car not move at all in gear like mine? It seems that something in the clutch is stuck in the position to allow it to go in gear, but is not going back so i can drive in gear.
I guess either way i an adjustable cable.
Thanks a lot stalkergt!

Found the issue and got it to move in gear! I removed the firewall adjuster and installed the stock rubber grommet, but trimmed the end of it off, where the cable goes into the firewall, to provide more slack. It moves in gear but slips bad, so I just ordered the Maximum motorsports cable so i can adjust it further.

Finally got the clutch working how it was. I installed a Maximum motorsports OE cable and the clutch pedal requires much less effort to push in than the ford racing cable. This cable is longer and routes in front of the oil filter instead of behind it, making a wider loop to the transmission. I had to adjust to where the clutch fork was almost hitting the side where it rests when the cable isn't attached. This clutch is just about done, time to start collecting all the parts needed for a new clutch.
