how big of a spacer do i need for tall valve covers bc i want to put on a set of Ford Racing Tall Valve Covers. They should fit under my stock hood right bc my is setup as a sleeper. I going to leave everything stock looking on the outside but im going to put on Black Ponys someday

 

i run a 3/8" spacer and the valve covers clear fine but the hood is another issue. whenever the motor torqued over it would hit the underside of the hood. i got a torque linque to "strap" the motor down so it wouldnt hit the hood anymore

 

i had 1' spacer with my tall covers. you deff need a taller hood for what i had

 

what valve covers do you have on the car?

it looks like they will fit under the stock hood if you just take the bracing out of the middle of the car
