ok so i just bought a 88 mustang lx convertible and besides the little rust im having trouble finding window regulators for the quarter window, just wondering if anyone has had the same issue and if so what did you do to fix or if anyone knows where i can find the part to fix the issue.

 

i assume you can hear the motor running?? if so you just need to go to the help section at auto zone and buy these(or order them on amazon)
you will take the motor apart and need to clean out al the old grease and the broken plastic pieces. you put the new bushings in then replace the center gear and reinstal the cover...(if you are cheap you can replace the bushings with 10mm nuts but they will not shear if someone rolls up the window on their arm so dont do it if you have kids as they could roll up a window and break their arm)
