You'll need an adapter elbow for the throttle body

yep you need to get a throttle body adaptor elbow, and you will also need to make some changes to the vacuum lines . Also you may need to somewhat bend the throttle linkage plate that holds the cables to the intake. A vacuum block off kit of various sized pieces is handy to have , as well as some extra lengths of vacuum line. The explorer intakes used a good deal more vacuum lines and are in different locations. As far as the egr is concerned it doesn't really matter on the intake because the stock heads from the sn95 mustangs don't have a spot for internal egr like some of the exporers did so if you happen to get a intake that has the internal it will be blocked off any ways . The elbow I bought for my swap had an egr mounting place on it. Witch pretty much kept it just like the original egr.
Do your self a favor and install as much as you can on the upper intake while its off the car , especially the throttle body adaptor and throttle body . There will be one stud on the adaptor that is next to impossible to tighten up while its on the car . Its the one that is on the bottom front that attaches the adaptor to the intake.

Wow Thanks. Can you tell me where you got your elbow so I can order one because I like the egr issue to be as easy as it can be. what gains do you think I will get going to the explorer intake and will I be able to notice it.

I got my elbow off ebay . There are several different brands , and they are expensive. between 80 and 120 bucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EFI-Throttle-Body-Elbow-Adapter-1994-95-Ford-Mustang-302-5-0L-54151-Satin-/121039326553?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c2e818d59&vxp=mtr

I noticed a big gain in hp so much so that going into 3rd gear I can get the rear to break loose, but I did a intake swap and installed some long tube headers . I also have 3.73 gears. The biggest thing I notice is that the car accelerates further into the higher rpm range, so it makes power a bit further into the shifting points. I was going to do the heads and cam also but after I got the intake and headers I decided to wait till I have a bit more cash . But overall Im really happy with the swap.

Maybe 5-10hp. I think it would be more thinking you are feeling a difference in power. I personally can't tell a difference in 10hp.

Like Dawson said, I think you'll notice it a lot more if you compliment it with other parts.
