Default rocker arm question

i just got an adjustable pushrod to find my proper length and used a sharpie on valve stem ... on the exhaust side of 1st cylinder i was able to make the sweetspot line in the middle of the middle BUT i tried on intake side of same #1 cylinder but the roller rocker tip wasnt sitting correctly! only half of the tip was rubbing off sharpie!!

ive searchd valve train geometry an adjusting but only one page said something about having to get it serviced at a machine shop if it was like this the picture should explain better.... And is this a problem?*duh* what would a machine shop due to correct this can i do it in my garage? Verticle adjustment i can do with the adjustable pushrod but how do you adjust horizontal center for proper roller tip placement???

Use adjustable push rod guide plates. Pushrod length determines how far up-down. Guideplates determine left-right.
