So i have this computer in my 1995 5.0 auto. U4PO (F4VF-12A650-CA)

can this be swapped with another one ending in BA or any other model.. This this thing is spitting and sputtering dumping fuel and tranny's not shifting right. Then engine light goes back off and runs great and shifts fine! FML.. And where can I find one? Dont know if I trust Ebay with the Brain of car.

I bought one off eBay. Still works great. Only buy from a reputable seller with a liberal return policy. If you aren't comfortable with eBay, or the specific seller, don't buy.
I can't advise on swapping computer s/n. I replaced with the same unit. I was told keeping same part # would help avoid car/computer mismatches.

Just curious. Are POSITIVE it's the computer? Have you pulled the code when the engine light is on?
