Default venom 400

Is anyone currently using or has ever used the venom 400 performance control module. Below are the claims they made on summit. I was just wondering if it is worth the $300. Can it acctually give my car 25% more horse? I was also thinkin about gettin a MAF sensor along with it. Any info will be greatly apprciated.

Get 25 percent more horsepower in just 30 minutes.
You don't have to be a master mechanic to get a major horsepower increase from your vehicle. All you need is a half an hour, a set of hand tools, and one of Python's Venom 400 performance control modules. These Venom 400s increase horsepower by 25 percent in the 1,000 to 5,000 rpm range and reduce delay when you mash down your throttle. And because they only kick on during increased engine load, they don't affect fuel economy under normal driving conditions. They'll work with preinstalled performance chips, have an off switch to preserve smog certification when not racing, and require only four electrical connections during installation.

Doesn't it just richen the A/F ratio and increase your timing, it's not worth it. Go get a timing gun and an afpr. I'm not sure how much the chip is but it's definentally not worth it.

What 1991_5.0_Convertible said.

Junk. All it is, is a device that fools the MAF at WOT, will make your motor think it's leaning out and dump more gas into your intake. A variation of this is on e-bay for roughly about the same price. It will destroy the O2 sensors, cats, and possibly burn out a valve or two over time.
