at least check and make sure car is equipped with a starter first, or if someone stole it, alright lets get to work if 5 speed make sure in neutral ,take a screwdriver and jump one big terminal to the other big terminal on the solenoid located on the inner fender if starter turns stop jumping, if not starter is bad or cable to starter is bad or cable is loose, now the terminal that goes to the battery from the solenoid jump it with screwdriver to the small post on solenoid that has a 90 degree electrical fitting on it , starter should spin , if starter spins you probably have bad ignition switch. or maybe fusible link
