Default need help calculating how much boost ill make

i picked up a v2 trim vortech setup for my 94 mustang. measured the crank pulley and blower pulley from inside the ribs and i came up with a 7 inch crank pulley thats on there and a 3.70 blower pulley. if i used the calculator on vortechs site and assuming my automatic shifts at around 5600rpm at most, i came up with an impeller speed of 38140.54. does anyone know what this will translate to psi wise? i only want to make between 5-6 lbs of boost to keep it safe on my high mileage engine.

I think the "stock" size pulley for a votech was 3.33 and that was for around 10 pounds, you should be fine with that larger pulley.

it is a 3.33, but the crank pulley is smaller with the stock kit....but i agree, you should be okay....if tuning yourself, get the fuel figured out before the timing. see how much fuel the engine likes, then add the timing to it

is the engine stock?

94's have smaller crank pulleys from the factory, do they swap them on the 94/95's as well?

You're right, they are a bit smaller. The boost numbers should be comparable though you'd think? What did you run on yours?

I bought the 5 psi kit with the 6" crank and 3.33" supercharger pulley. that lasted for about a day and i was ready for more boost. so then i bought the 6.87 crank pulley. that was better, but the boost still didn't match the rpm band very well. then i went to a 3.12 pulley. then a 2.85. then back to a 3.12 pulley.

I liked the 2.85 pulley the best, but it slipped alot. It would make the torque all the way down to 2500 rpm...which i hardly ever saw, unless it was an initial punch in 1st or 2nd gear. but, it made almost 14lbs up top, and i didn't want to scatter the engine. so i dropped it back to a 3.12
