Default Cobra Suspension dilema...Ill ask here too..

I just bought a 98 cobra and it has a full bilstein suspension on it...shock, bars and springs...Im in chicagoland and this sucker is waaay to harsh for our roads...so Im wondering if I just replace the springs, eibachs perhaps? if it will soften if up some? or is it the shocks that make the rough ride? If not what pieces should I retain, and replace? I dont care if the car goes back to stock height, I have to soften it up...car also has cc plates...help please

i suggest buying some adjustable sock/struts and leaving the rest. this way you can still have the lowered car ans good handling when you want it, but also get the ride quality when you want that

Yeah check to see if the shocks you have now aren't adjustable before spending any money.

the right shocks with the right springs will handle good, and ride nice, get some diff shocks and that should help.
