Default 93 5.0 Crank to Flywheel Bolt Holes

While watching Motortrend I heard that some cranks have the flywheel bolt holes that go all the way through and you should thread seal the bolts or they may leak.

Does anyone know if the 5.0 HO crank is that way? My 93 LX has a leak back there and I replaced the clutch/flywheel/rear main seal a couple years back and never even knew this was a possibility. If I go back into to fix this leak, I want to know the answer before I get there.

Thanks!
