why do you want to take the silicone off? i meant seal the weatherstrip to the body with the silicone and put grease where it hinges in the front of the roof. if you do take the silicone off, yes a small scraper will do it, and yes, be careful.
whoops misread what you said...

Anyways, I sealed around the top of the sunroof glass with the silicone towards the very end of last winter (when this first started). I am now going to take the sunroof back off so I need to scrape off the silicone to get it off. Then I can try the air compressor on the tubes.

fawk it thats why i only get solid roofs lately.
Agreed. Do you think a shop would weld a piece of sheet metal there and then I could just get rid of it? Do you think that would work?

yes you could convert that hole into asolid roof. youll have to get a new head liner tho but you can have shop weld it up then mud over it along with paint
