Hey All, just needing some opintions on a 351 swap.... I was going to go with a rebiuld 306 but after thinking more I really am thinking hard of going with a 351 and I am windering the following

1) How much Hp can the stock 351 internals handle?
2) Will .30 over pistsons fit in a 351 engine from a 302?
3) How bad is the milage with the mods listed below?
4) What number can I expect? Anyone out there running a 351?
5) Does it bolt up to the AOD? As well any other mounting issues

your going to need differnt mounts/torque converter/intake atleast the lower/ and some other stuff. no pistons wont fit. should be too much of a differnce in mpg and they can handle quite a bit of power how much are you looking to get out of it?

Thanks, I just read an article and seen what was involved I am not going to go ahead with it, too much of a hassle plus I already have too much invested in parts that would be usless. I am going to go with a 331 instead

yeah but no matter what I am not going to be able to test it out until F'In April, just got a fresh 2 inches of snow today and a whole lot more on the way.... Boo Snow
