I have a 306 short block from Downd Ford. it is forged,blueprinted and balanced with an F303 cam. i am gonna make it carburetored. i am looking for a good intake and head combo that will give me about 450 HP. all suggestions wanted. thanx

i want to go carb just to try something new i have another stang which is EFI. plus i figured that it is cheaper than buying a computer and the electrical and EFI components

what is the problem with this cam.....i'm not too familiar with the types of cams. i recieved the cam for free and i figured i would be better than the stock cam

you wont make 450hp with that cam.

mabye if you put on some AFR 205 heads and an edelbrock victor intake, and a cam with a high duration and lift over .600"

you may get there.
