Default getting no spark

last night when i went to go leave in my car it wouldent start. so i went out and checked to make shure my wires were down and tryed again and still same thing. so i took off the #1 wire and stuck a screw driver in it and started it again and i didnt see any spark. so i thought its either the coil or distrib, i ordered a new msd blaster coil off jegs and had them ship it for today and when it came i changed it but still doing the same thing[:@] so now it has to be the distrib right? do i have to replace the whole thing or is there something on there i can replace. its a stock distrib, should i stick with the stock one or spend the extra money for the msd if i have to replace it?

Go and get yourself a new TFI Module, thats the lil thing that is on the front of the dizzy that the connector plugs into, then a new cap and rotor.... and if you are really determined you can ever get yourself some new wires then your ignition system will be good for many years to come again..... if that doesn;t fix it then you have a wireing problem, let us know.

I would just go ahead and get a nice MSD billet distributer. Screw rebuilding it. MSD!!!

ok i just went out to check it out and on my distrib i have two wires coming off of it and they go into a connector where there are 4other wires in it. 2 of those wires run to my msd blaster 2 coil and the other 2 run though the fire wall into the car some where , so theres a total of 6 wires.on the other side of the connection it goes to my holley HD ANNIHATOR igniton ( it look like the msd box) , then from that there is a ground wire and a red wire going to the starter relay. what do i do now? its not the starter relay right? because if it was that all it would do is make a clicking noise and not even turn over right? or is it the holley HD ANNIHATOR igniton?

Actually someone should post a pic of their starter relay because I never marked my wires when I did my engine bay and I can't remember off hand what way the wires went on there..... But anyways did you try shorting out the relay? And are you trying with a charger hooked up? Where is the clicking coming from?>

make sure the ignition is getting a full 12 volts on the power wire, check all the connections for the ignition, and make sure the coil wires are on the right way.

ok well i checked the coils and my ignition box and both were getting current to it and then i checked the two wires coming off the distrib and nothing, i followed those wires back into the car and it went to over where the fue box was and spliced into an other wire and adventually found out that it went to a switch and a wire was off. hooked it back up, turned switch on and then sweet noise to my ears the car started. when my friend was hitching up my radio he must have disconnected that and never put it back on [:@] but any way the cars running and running great
