Im sure that someone will answer you here but it would probally be better off in the Pipes, Boost, & Juice section.

Default RE: dry kit???

the vac line HAS to be on or it will just stay at about 42 psi

the "fuel" jet is actually the "vac" jet, but since it's used to bump the fuel pressure, they call it the fuel jet.

anyway, just like the bigger jet allows more nitrous to spray, the bigger vac jet cretaes a higher fuel pressure.

if you could see inside the zex box as separate components, it's like the NOS kit. of the nitrous reg, is where the vac line comes off, then runs to the fp reg. and when the nitrous sprays, it causes the change in vac, which spikes the fp.

i can't really explain it any better , especially since the jetting combo doesn't always go w/ bigger and bigger......the jets for a 150 shot are the reverse of the 75 shot....just reversed....#67 and #42 (which is .067 and .042) but thats the idea anyway

like bob said, it tricks the fuel pressure regulator to up fuel pressure.
