Default 331 with turbo vs 393

just curious to see which one you guys would rather have for the street/strip. i personally would rather have the 331 with the turbo than the 393.
please post which you would rather have and why. thanks chris

The turbo will take a bit to spool, and a new kmember is in order to make room for it. If you are going with a nice turbo unit, then the spool is reduced alot, and if youre willing to do the kmember, its worth it. 331 gets my vote, because i street more than strip, and itd be more fun for me to drive.

I built a 347 with SC, if I had it to do over again I think I would have went 351 poked and stroked.
Don't get me wrong the 347 is strong but, many of the large motors are doing just about as good with no FI. Cubic inches are always there, no waiting for boost.

My buddy has a 408 stroker in his 88 stang. Thats the way to go. He can put that car up against ALMOST anything on the street and walk it.
