It might of slowed down his top end a little bit but 4:10's will dramatically increase your acceleration. Trust US. 4:10's will NO WAY make your car slower. Back to the heads, I forgot that you did not have the E7T's. Yes they will make power but nothing like a nice set of aftermarket heads and you can shed alot of weight by going aluminum. ALOT of weight. I would seriously look on ebay for used heads.

what type of heads should i look for? and i think that i have flat top pistons so is there a range in lift that i need to stay in on the cam?

4.10s could easily reduce ur trap speed...and if ur launch isnt great with them it could produce a slower ET... I lost .1mph in the 1/4 and gained .4 ET by going from 3.08 to 3.55s.

Trickflow, Edelbrock, Gt-40, AFR, etc. etc. Im not sure what size you can go on stock heads but I know that its not much more than .500' lift
