well my car started running really bad and then not at all well its a old motor so i thought that my compression had got to crap and its time for a new motor so i started taking it all apart and took my exhaust off too to make so modifications and while disconnecting the exhaust pipe that connects to the h-pipe on the passenger side a whole lot of black chips fell out and looked into the pipe and found a ball of catalytic converter material wedged into the pipe the exact size and shape of the pipe so im like damn! i guess im goin to put it back together just enough to play with it and do donuts anyways just had to tell yall what had happened to me merry christmas!

sounds like your cats went bad. This will cause problems. It can even lead to motor not running. What happens is the pipes get clogged. Which will not let the exhast to breath! You can replace yor cats w/h-pipe or install a h-pipe with out cats!! Good luck!!
