It would work if he swapped over the bumper, bumper cover, headlight support and headlights. Not really worth it if you like the 86 front end.

Also Grimace who's hood do you have on your car? It looks like theres a very large gap in the front.

Someone already said it will if you swap the front clip. Don't you guys read the posts?

Every 85-86 I've seen has that gap between the hood and bumber.

Swapping over the entire front end to fit a hood would be like buying a jet liner to get free peanuts IMO. Cheaper, less work and correct to get the right hood.

My hood is a harwood the prev owner hacked together. Honestly, it fits like crap. The front isn't that bad if your in front of the car looking at it but the back he has all F'd up. It's getting replaced with a 5" extended model....soon.
