Default Need Help Fast (Valve Gaskets)

Earlier today i decided to replace my valve Cover gaskets. Iv taken all the bolts off the cover but i cant seem to get it off. Am i missing something? Do i need to pri it off? Any Information would be helpful

If you removed the 6 fasteners they should come off. Take a hammer and use the wood end to tap on them. Who knows what "somebody" put under them to "help them seal".

yea, i have the 6 fasteners off, but its stiff as a rock, just tap around seal softly?

They are prolly just stuck from being on soo long, Spray some gasket remover and take a flat head screwdriver and pry slowly on the end. I you break them Ill send you an old pair I have laying around. Also dont go the cheap route and get those cheapo cork gaskets, get the rubber poly gastket that doesnt require sealer.

Nothing. Get the fel pro permadry gaskets. they are blue in color and are made from rubber/silicone over a metal frame. They go on dry and will seal fine.
