Default Heads Change Sound

If i add heads to my car .... will it change the sound of the exhaust, are their certain heads out there that make your car louder ? .... I knew this kid that had Mac on a 95 Cobra and sounded totally different then a stock GT with Mac ,, i know the cobra have gt40 heads..... thx

yes, they usually do whether it comes from increased compression or more flow.

yes and no, the new heads will make it sound differant because you will make more power, a motor is just an air pump the more air you can get in and out of it the more power you will make, add the right amout of fuel and you have power, something like a stock 302 with exhaust compared to a 500+hp 302 the sound is really differant. it will make a deeper tone it will not get louder.
