then you wont have any problems putting the brace on or the upper and lower intake. a new intake will give you alot more power because you have a S/C. my exhaust sound changed quite a bit too. its alot louder and deeper now.

just go ask them if they have a upper and lower intake off of a 96 explorer 5.0. and if they dont, try to get them to order it from another junkyard. the intakes bolt strait on. theres no modifying anything. except plugging a few vacuumes you dont need. and i had to make my fuel pressure regulator hose longer. but the throttle body elbow comes with everything you need like gaskets for your EGR valve and for the throttle body.

but if you have the money for a trick flow..then by all means, get it. i think the trick flow is the #2 intake on the market. edelbrock being number 1.
