Default Fuel pump problem

Just a quick question - the fuel pump on my 89 GT does'nt switch off anymore when the ignition switch is on (engine not running) once the pressure is reached, it just keeps on pumping fuel through and back to the tank. Does anyone know if theres a pressure relay or timer the cuts off the pump - I can't seem to find anything. Many thanks.

Default RE: Fuel pump problem

you have a relay under your seat (doubtful it's that)
time to replace the pump imo.

Yeah - changed that and its the same. I think there must be some other relay/switch that turns the pump off if you dont start the engine but leave the ignition on??
