Many times, this clicking sound is ball joints, go and squirt some grease into your tie rod ends, I had this problem until yesterday and it 100% cured it, no more clicking when I was turning. This isn't a permanent cure of course, I'm going to do my ball joints and tie rods when I get the $$$. But I've got more important things that are wrong right now with the stang...

Wouldnt worn ball joints only make clicking like that if the load on the wheel changed? Not like wieght but I mean you began to turn or jerked the wheel real quick? Also, I wouldnt think that worn ball joint noise would be affected by speed like a wheel bearing would... Im neither a mechanic nor an engineer though, just something to think about

Next time you take the wheel off look at the inside of the wheel and see if there is any wear in the inside of the rim. My car used to do it and when I looked at the inside of the rim there was a ring around it. It turned out one of the clips on my break pad on that side was bent out a little bit. It was rubbing againse the inside of the wheel (which has 4 raised lines on the inside) so every time the clip hit one of the lines it would click. So some quick work with a hammer fixed the clicking.
