if i were u i would get the 3.73's and then save ur money and buy the edelbrock intake from grabbem. i would say better performance gains the explorer intake and then u won't have to do the expensive maching but just my opinion

That sounds like a great idea, that's the plan that I had decided on is to get the gears installed and then save up for intake, then for heads, then for the bottom end rebuild.
