seafoam is like an all purpose motor cleaner. I use a can of it with every oil change and it does wanders. The best way to do it is Unplug your brake booster line, stick the hose into the can and have someone in your car making sure the car doesnt stall out. as soon as the car has sucked up the whole can, turn the engine off. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then start the car back up. You will have a great smoke show. I had a bad case of detonation and i used seafoam in the way i said above and i have no more detonation. Seafoam will clean all the carbon out of your intake and heads. In my opinion, a seafoam treatment should be done with every oil change or every 2500 miles. You can also mix half a can with your gas(for fuel injector cleaner and a gas treatment) and also mix half a can with your oil. (this is used to help sticky lifters and gummy valves turn new again). Remember, if you havnt ever done this before, you need to do this ASAP. Seafoam will free up power you have lost due to miles. Hooking up a can of seafoam to my break booster vacuum gave me 2 tenths of a second. That is how much power i freed up. This stuff is inexpensive too. 4.99$ a can.
