Default rebuild or swap

wattup people i just need some insight on my options.
the deal is i have a 92 5.0 with 180k miles on it and am considering swapping the engine. ive been looking at a 351 fully built engine online that has 400 horsepower without turbo or SC for about 6500 ready to install. my other option is rebuild and if anyone can give me some info on how i could rebuild it to maximize my horsepower and some prices and parts for me to checkout. ive still got awhile before i can afford to do this so any info would be great.

Well first of all, I am planning a build right now with FPS (Ford Performance Solutions) to build me a 418 stroker and Im paying right around 6,500. Thats for a 351 block fully forged (JE pistons), edelbrock victor jr. manifold, afr 225's, main support system, canton 7qt pan, valve covers, timing chain, timing chain cover, rockers, custom cam, lifters, etc. etc. etc. Basically everything except for a water pump, pulleys and a carb. I wouldnt pay that much for a 351. And my motor is going to push well over 400hp. Weeellllll over that. I would check them out. Their website is F-P-S.com. Good luck.
