Default Quick Question on Idendify Gears

I just orderd 4.10 gears ... They sent me 373s and i called went through the BS and they send me 4.10's , i looked at the 373's and they looked a little different and had ingraved 373 Ford on borh the Ring and Pinion .. I checked the 410's and they dont say anytihng about Ford or 4.10 on them, They also are a semi gloss black , the 373's were grayish ... Im just hopeing that there really FRPP gears .. Are they suposed to look different or what? the Box was a different box also ... Are the 4.10s suposed to be a little smaller ? thx...

Where did you get them? I'd send it back and get a set from a reputable company like Randy's or your local speed shop.

Count the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide that by the number of teeth on the pinion..that'll give you you're ratio for sure.
