FINALLY
!!!!! I guess it had to do something with ground. The ground strap from the engine to the body was rusted and it had broke off. I can't beleive a simple thing like this would cause a big problem. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP grabbem88.

I was getting ready to say a ground, but I was late on the post lol, anyway a bad ground will do that, it will also fry the computer if you are not careful. my 88 did the same thing when the starter solenoid was loose, in case you did not know the solenoid has to be grounded to the chassis
