Default Tires for WELDS

I just got a set of Weld Draglite 15 x 8, 5 bolt rims. I am looking for a good set of drag radials to put on them. I am running a set of Nitto 555's on my 17inch cobras now and they are allright but I am leaning toward a set of Mickey Thompson's. What size tires would you guys suggest for the welds ? They are only going to be used for track duty and I want something that wont rub. The car is a 94 GT stock ride height. Thanks for any help .....

26 x 10.5 X 15

if you get the radial instead of the bias-ply the tire guys can give you the metric size.

i would go with 275/60 rather than 275/50. i put 275/50 on a foxbody stock height and they rubbed goin round a turn.

275/60's are bigger.
