I dropped some bosch platnum single prong platinum plugs in my 92 GT with some msd wires and those worked out fine for me a lot of people say they arn't good but ive had no problems though and the good thing about them is since they are platinum you never have to adjust the gap on them

that information is inaccurate, just because their platinum doesnt mean you never have to adjust the gap on them. me personally i run autolite platinum, and my boy runs autolite double platinum, so IMO id go with autolites reg, platinum or double plat, plat preferred as a good price range.

for spark plug wires, id go with either accel, or msd. oil filter id go with motorcraft. sparkplugs id go with autolite. fuel filter id go with wix. rotor id go with accel, or msd. hope that helps you.

The reason folks with FI do not run Platinum plugs is due to potential detonation. The Platinum plug stays hotter, and in a FI car a hot spot is not what you want. I guess you might say the Platinum works too good for FI. For NA cars not running high compression, Platinum should work very well. I personally believe they are not required if you use an aftermarket ignition box.
