Default Temp. Gauge problems

So Im driving my 94 saleen through town for one of the first times (just bought it last night) today. I noticed that after a GOOD half hour of driving at about 50-60 the car is good and warm, but the temp gauge is still at absolutely C. I know the car is good and warm considering Ive been driving it for a long while and I can feel it. What should I replace? Is it the gauge that is not moving or the temp sensor inside that is not functioning properly? How do I check? Thanks

First locate the sending unit and see if it's connected. Then, if it is, disconnect it and ground it w/ a test light and it should go full hot. That will tell you if the gauge is functioning.
