Default Is this a bad idea??

I found a dash from a 98 mustang to put in my 88. The only problem is the top part is black and the bottom part is tan. Do you think it would be a really bad idea to paint that lower half? Does anyone make something specific for that? Would it look like crap and come off easy? Any suggestions at all would be great. thanks in advance.

hey, what ever blows your hair back. If you do deside to paint the lower half then I suggest you use a spray paint called
Fushion, made by Krylon. Clean what ever your painting REALLY good with soapy water, dry it off really well then spray paint it. what a lot of people do wrong when they spray paint stuff is they don;t do lairs. If you do deside to paint it do about 4 or 5 coats, Light coats. Then when your done use the clear coat spray paint made by the same company so there is no tackyness and you can clean it without ruffing off the paint. I did it in my 88 stang and it worked Awsome. If you want i can send you before and after Pics, you won;t beleave it

make sure u use silicon wax and grease remover cause most people use armor all at one time or another and soapy water wont remove it!
